In our work together, we will thoroughly investigate these patterns, come to an understanding of where they came from and establish new ways of thinking and behaving. The ultimate goal is to help you lead a happier, more peaceful, and contented life.
As your therapist, I carefully select the most effective strategies from a diverse range of modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment theory, and Relational Life Therapy. My approach may differ slightly from other therapists, as I actively participate in your therapeutic journey.
Together, we will establish meaningful goals for your work, and I will provide both compassion and directness. I will point out your problematic behaviours and challenge you to change them while maintaining the right balance of kindness and accountability.
Additionally, I'll explain the scientific basis behind the strategies and skills I teach, empowering you with a deeper understanding of your behaviours and enabling you to utilize these strategies even in overwhelming moments.
